Last Monday our Youth Exchange Student, Marie, gave us a presentation about herself, family and life in France. I think she found her older audience a lot more inquisitive than either the Interact Club or the Satellite members but she handled all the question admirably. Thanks to Morwenna for sorting the computer issues to enable us to enjoy this presentation and to Marie for giving it. I forgot to take a picture during the delivery but have one of her raising the French flag on Remembrance Day at Amiens
A reminder that next Monday is the AGM for Stanthorpe Rotary. This includes members of the Satellite group and we hope to see a good attendance of all members. Also on Monday night the Opera committee will be airing some new ideas for next year's Opera in the Vineyard and would like input from all members on how we can improve our appeal to new clientele.
Kylie has had an enquiry from the Salvation Army seeking helpers for a free community dinner they provide on Christmas Eve. If you feel able to give a couple of hours to help please contact Kylie or myself for a volunteers's form.
Julia has provided information about our Stanthorpe Rotary Christmas dinner on 17th December. See flyer below for details.
